Spring Creek Pork

This is the first year we have raised pork. We purchased sows from local 4-H kids last summer. The sows spent most of the winter inside our barn turning the bedding into compost. Each sow has now given birth and this spring we have piglets running all over the barn yard. Once they are old enough to be weaned, we will move them to wooded areas to spend the summer rooting and doing what comes natural to them. In the meantime, we do offer freezer pork from pigs we purchased and pastured. We have a high demand for our pork products, so we must be doing something right. Just like our beef, our pork is processed at a local, federally-inspected facility and comes to you vacuum packed.
